Prozac

Prozac (fluoxetine) is a drug specially designed for the treatment of depression and some other psychiatric conditions. Younger patients are more likely to get some dangerous symptoms when they start taking Prozac. Every person younger than 24, especially younger than 18, must be monitored by the doctor and family members for any of the following symptoms: severe restlessness, agitation, thinking about harming yourself, aggressiveness, irritability, abnormal excitement, difficulty falling asleep, extreme worry, suicidal thoughts, worsening depression, and panic attacks. Prozac has been reported to case the following side effects: nervousness, weakness, changes in sex drive, drowsiness, nausea, loss of appetite, weight loss, dry mouth, uncontrollable shaking, sweating, and sore throat.
